The list of winners for the 2020 China Most Innovative Knowledge Organization (MIKE) Award has been officially released!

On August 28, the 2020 China Most Innovative Knowledge Organization (MIKE) Award online review meeting was officially held.
The expert review panel for this year's MIKE includes Professor Dong Xiaoying from Peking University's Guanghua School of Management, Professor Cao Jian, Director of the Network and Service Computing Research Institute at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Zhang Zengying, a judge for the Shenzhen Quality Award and President of the Shenzhen Excellence Performance Management Promotion Association, former Huawei CKO Tan Xinde, former SF Express Knowledge Management Director Li Feng, and Xue Biao, a judge for the Shenzhen Quality Award and IBM authorized knowledge management training lecturer, among others; Guo Bin, Project Director of Tsinghua University's Technology Innovation Research Center and knowledge management expert, Dr. Xia Jinghua, Vice President of Lanling Software and Director of Lanling Research Institute, and Huang Deyi, Executive Vice President of Lanling Research Institute and knowledge management expert, attended the review meeting as observers.
At the beginning of the meeting, Professor Chen Jin, Director of Tsinghua University's Technology Innovation Research Center, and Xu Xia, CEO of Lanling Software, delivered speeches as representatives of the organizers.

Professor Chen Jin stated that the MIKE Award represents the highest level of selection for the most innovative knowledge organizations in mainland China, and the selection of the MIKE Award is of great significance for knowledge management in our country, as well as for promoting knowledge management and enhancing the competitiveness and capacity building of enterprises.

Xu Xia stated, "In the post-pandemic era, online will become the new normal! The pandemic has also pressed the fast-forward button for enterprises to transform into intelligent organizations! This era requires the emergence of innovative knowledge organizations, making the selection of the MIKE Award even more valuable!"
Participating organizations showcase their capabilities and share innovative achievements.
The 2020 China MIKE Award was jointly initiated by Tsinghua University's Technology Innovation Research Center, Shenzhen Lanling Software Co., Ltd., and other institutions, with global MIKE award review meetings participating in guidance. It officially started in May this year, attracting many well-known enterprises such as China Telecom Research Institute, CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive, and Guodian Dadu River Company to sign up.
In August, after online evaluations by an expert review panel composed of experts from Peking University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and many senior executives in knowledge management from well-known enterprises, a group of outstanding companies was selected from dozens of participating enterprises to enter today's online final review stage.
The online reporting and defense session was exciting, with organizations from various industries such as telecommunications, energy, architectural design, and manufacturing actively sharing their practices and achievements in innovation management and knowledge management.
China Telecom Research Institute
The China Telecom Research Institute is a direct research institution of China Telecom Group, serving as the "national team" and "main force" for technological innovation in the telecommunications industry. Li Mingda, Director of the Information Center's Solutions Team at the Research Institute, detailed the effective practices and successful experiences in promoting the empowerment of intellectual capital to business development through theoretical model innovation, shared platform innovation, and management model innovation.
The Research Institute creatively proposed a knowledge cycle model for enterprise technological innovation, based on which, through the introduction of advanced technologies, developed a collaborative innovation cloud platform with telecommunications characteristics. Currently, the platform aggregates nearly 10,000 research projects, standards, patents, and achievements, shares 100,000 pieces of R&D knowledge, connects with millions of high-value external knowledge, and accesses 140 million global patents. Through the continuous application of the platform and the supporting management mechanisms, it has effectively improved the efficiency of technological innovation management, sharing, collaboration, and decision-making, becoming an important driving engine for enterprise technological innovation.
CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive
CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CRRC Group, primarily engaged in rail transit traction motors and transformers, wind turbines, high-efficiency motors, new energy vehicle drives, special transformers, and high-speed permanent magnet motors. Zhang Zhuofan, the knowledge management supervisor at CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive, presented on the theme "Striving to Open New Situations, Innovation Leads to New Chapters," analyzing the company's practical achievements in six major areas: company development, strategic vision, innovation culture, talent empowerment, product innovation, and knowledge management.
In terms of knowledge management implementation, CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive creatively integrates four modules: knowledge system, system platform, business processes, and career development, forming a learning organization think tank with Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive characteristics.
Guodian Dadu River Company
Guodian Dadu River Basin Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. is the largest hydropower enterprise under the State Energy Group. Wang Zhen, Assistant Director of the Big Data Company under Dadu River Company, elaborated on the theme of "Leading High-Quality Development of Enterprises with Innovation Culture," detailing the exploration and practice of building intelligent enterprises at Dadu River Company.
Wang Zhen introduced that Dadu River Company has built a multi-brain collaborative digital enterprise based on the physical enterprise, establishing a top-level design structure of "one central hub, multiple centers, and four units," founded a corporate big data company, and established 21 professional data centers and four major business units.
Ernst & Young Huaming
Ernst & Young is one of the Big Four accounting firms globally and was one of the first professional service organizations authorized to operate in mainland China in 1981. Jiang Na and Tao Tingting, managers of the knowledge management department at Ernst & Young Huaming Accounting Firm (Special General Partnership), shared the company's innovative achievements from several aspects, including "attracting and cultivating diverse and excellent talents," "promoting innovation and digitalization," "creating synergy through collaboration," and "customer-centricity."
In the digital age, audit standards and objectives have not changed, but the processes and methods of auditing have undergone transformation. Ernst & Young continuously researches and invests in technological innovation by utilizing emerging artificial intelligence, machine learning, next-generation data, and cloud services, providing audit services in a new intelligent way, offering stronger confidence, better business perspectives, and higher transparency to the capital market.
Huason Design
Shenzhen Huason Architectural and Engineering Design Consulting Co., Ltd. was established in 1980 and is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Construction Technology Group Co., Ltd., a large backbone technology-based central enterprise directly under the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. Ye Hongbing, Director of the Information Center, detailed Huason Design's practical achievements in line with MIKE selection standards.
Ye Hongbing introduced that in terms of "empowering knowledge workers with innovative capabilities," the company focuses on "attracting, utilizing well, and retaining talents," continuously improving the company's job levels, qualifications, and promotion systems, and establishing a guarantee mechanism for the selection, use, training, and retention of talent, enhancing the overall synergy of talent in entrepreneurship.
The expert review panel conducted a professional, fair, and rigorous evaluation of the reports from the shortlisted enterprises based on the eight new standards and innovation performance indicators for continuous innovation in knowledge organizations for the MIKE Award, and also provided professional suggestions and opinions on the construction of knowledge management and innovation management in the shortlisted enterprises.
In the end, after intense competition, China Guodian Dadu River Basin Hydropower Development Co., Ltd., CRRC Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Co., Ltd., and China Telecom Corporation Research Institute won the 2020 China MIKE Excellence Award; Ernst & Young Huaming Accounting Firm (Special General Partnership) and Shenzhen Huasen Architectural and Engineering Design Consulting Co., Ltd. received the 2020 China MIKE Award; China Guodian Dadu River Basin Hydropower Development Co., Ltd. won the Best Technological Innovation Award; Ernst & Young Huaming Accounting Firm (Special General Partnership) won the Best Knowledge Operation Award.
Leading Chinese enterprises to benchmark against international standards, assisting organizations in innovative development.
The MIKE Award was formerly known as the MAKE Award (Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise), which originated in 1998, initiated by Teleos in collaboration with the KNOW Network. In 2011, the MAKE Award was introduced to China and has successfully held seven sessions, leading Chinese enterprises to benchmark against international standards.
Since 2018, Tsinghua University Technology Innovation Research Center, Hong Kong Polytechnic University Knowledge Management and Innovation Research Center, Shenzhen Lanling Software Co., Ltd., and other institutions jointly initiated the upgrade of the MAKE Award to the Most Innovative Knowledge Organization (MIKE) Award, while launching the China MIKE Award selection, aiming to explore the best practices of knowledge management innovation applications and further promote the popularization and sharing of knowledge management.
