In 2019, Lanling and the Lanling Research Institute, in collaboration with experts from Jinlang, Chief Digital Officers, Digital Communities, and the Digital Transformation and Innovation Research Committee, jointly launched the "Search for Digital Benchmarks: 2019 Digital Transformation Pioneer Enterprise Selection" activity, hoping to provide reference experiences for more enterprises undergoing digital transformation through the sharing of practices by pioneers. Yunnan Tobacco won the "2019 Digital Transformation Pioneer Enterprise: Classic Case Award" for its industry-leading achievements in digital transformation practices.

Yunnan Tobacco Industrial Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Yunnan Tobacco") integrates cigarette production and sales, tobacco material supply, scientific research, and diversified operations, making it the largest provincial tobacco company in terms of cigarette production and sales scale in the country.
As the core R&D institution of the Yunnan Tobacco industrial system, how to enhance its R&D capabilities and gain and expand its technological advantages in related research fields is the core proposition of the technology center. The construction of a knowledge management system, a technological innovation management system, and a "Knowledge +" model can achieve integrated management and organic integration of talents, processes, and resources for technological innovation, providing strategic support for solving this proposition. In this regard, Yunnan Tobacco decided to partner with Lanling to first establish a knowledge-based open innovation platform at the technology center.

The intellectual cloud platform aggregates talent resources and obtains information such as "project experience, work experience, research achievements" of relevant talents through business systems, outlining a "person profile" that includes personal cards, basic information, experience achievements, etc., and categorizing talents by source, professional field, position, and skill expertise, fully highlighting the advantages of talents in their respective fields, making it convenient for R&D personnel to quickly find corresponding expert support when forming project teams.
The intellectual cloud platform has a built-in "network recommendation" function, allowing users to follow relevant experts and build a personal intellectual resource library, accumulating "expert connections."

The platform has been connected with the technological project platform: when applying for projects, existing information in the intellectual resource pool does not need to be re-entered and can be directly selected from the intellectual cloud; in addition, during project applications, the system will automatically match project participants with personnel information in the intellectual resource pool, and in cases of unsuccessful matches, new personnel information will be written into the intellectual resource pool, continuously enriching the intellectual resource information in the intellectual cloud.
