Since the launch of the 11th China Most Innovative Knowledge Organization (MIKE) Awards in 2021, nearly a hundred outstanding companies in the industry have participated in the award application. After the first preliminary screening and the second online review, the shortlisted companies entered the third round of review.

 

On August 20, the final review meeting was officially held. Shortlisted companies presented their defenses on-site, and the expert review panel scored them on-site. The organizing committee then combined the results from several rounds to comprehensively select the 2021 China MIKE Awards list!

2021 China MIKE Awards Review Meeting

 

On August 20, at the China MIKE Awards final review site, expert delegations from Peking University and other fields evaluated the companies entering the third round.

 

At the beginning of the review meeting, Xu Xia, President of Lanling Software, delivered a speech as the representative of the organizer.

Xu Xia stated, "Through the China MIKE Awards, we can discover the best practice cases of knowledge management in various industries, identify outstanding talents in knowledge management, stimulate the trend of knowledge management in various industries, guide the development of knowledge management, and benchmark or become excellent organizations. We also hope that in the new era, the development of knowledge management can remain true to its original intention and keep pace with the times."

During the on-site and online reporting defense sessions, organizations from various industries such as architectural design, real estate, research and manufacturing, and insurance actively shared their practices and achievements in innovation management and knowledge management.

The expert review panel conducted professional, fair, and rigorous evaluations of the reports from shortlisted companies based on the eight new standards and innovation performance indicators for MIKE Awards knowledge organizations, and also provided professional suggestions and opinions on the construction of knowledge management and innovation management in the shortlisted companies.

 

Introduction of winning companies and some company remarks

 

In the end, after fierce competition, Tencent Game Academy, China Life, and Ernst & Young Huaming won the 2021 China MIKE Excellence Award.

 

Huayang International, Xingcheng Special Steel, SAIC Passenger Vehicle Company, H3C Group, Excellence Group, and Hongrongyuan Group won the 2021 China MIKE Award.

 

Tencent Game Academy won the 2021 China MIKE Best Technology Innovation Award, and SAIC Passenger Vehicle Company won the 2021 China MIKE Best Knowledge Operation Award.

 

Tencent Game Academy

Tencent Game Academy is committed to creating a platform for game knowledge sharing and industry communication, focusing on promoting professional talent cultivation, game studies and development, and developer ecosystem construction. China Life Insurance Co., Ltd. is a leading enterprise in the domestic life insurance industry, headquartered in Beijing, with a registered capital of 28.265 billion RMB, and is a core member of China Life Insurance (Group) Company. Zhou Tingting, a senior supervisor in the customer contact center management department, introduced that in the company's knowledge management work, China Life has built a new type of intelligent service knowledge management standard system for the industry; and has initiated an intelligent response knowledge operation model leading the industry, with applications such as knowledge graphs and intelligent Q&A, driving continuous innovation and development of the business.

 

Ernst & Young Huaming

Ernst & Young is a multinational professional services organization and one of the Big Four accounting firms, providing auditing (including financial audits), tax, strategy and transactions, and consulting services. According to Lin Shihui and Jiang Na, knowledge management managers at Ernst & Young Huaming, Ernst & Young has built the "Discover" knowledge management platform, which is the most comprehensive one-stop global information and knowledge sharing platform of Ernst & Young, integrating three major functions: search engine, portal site, and discovery personnel, achieving knowledge sharing, information search, team assistance, intelligent retrieval, and analysis optimization, promoting full resource sharing and sustainable development of the enterprise.

 

Huayang International

Huayang International Design Group was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2019 and is a listed enterprise in the entire construction industry chain. Lv Zhu, the executive deputy general manager of Huayang International Shenzhen Company and general manager of the operation center, introduced that Huayang International has carried out research, platform construction, knowledge accumulation, and management around "industry pain points" and "talent capabilities," achieving the whole process management of knowledge from accumulation, reuse to innovation, promoting efficient business development.

 

Xingcheng Special Steel

Xingcheng Special Steel is a highly specialized special steel production enterprise under CITIC Pacific Special Steel Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CITIC Group.
